You Ruined New York City For Me is Fletcher’s second EP. This album is about a person who experiences a breakup from their first true love. It goes through all the different stages of a breakup, from denial, anger, sadness, hope, and acceptance. With this design, I wanted the interaction of opening the vinyl and closing it to be a part of the design. With the front cover, I wanted to show the sadness and loss this person feels. Once you listen to the record, the listener will experience all the different emotions, then at last, you close the cover and it is a simple cityscape representing the past is now in the past. I really enjoyed my time designing this cover.
